Bateman-Bullcreek

Bateman-Bullcreek is a small, friendly club with between 60-80 little athletes each year. Our coaches aim is to help guide your child to achieve the best they can, i.e. ‘personal bests’, build confidence through participation, with a strong emphasis on the Little Athletics motto of ‘Family, Fun & Fitness’. As with all Little Athletics clubs we cannot operate efficiently without the support of volunteers. We welcome and encourage parent participation at all levels.

Uniform

Bateman-Bullcreek orange with black trim shirts & vests (available from the club) are to be worn with plain black shorts / bike pants.

Training

Training takes place each Tuesday from 5.00pm – 6.30 pm.

Our training venue is Bill Ellison Reserve (Bateman Primary School Oval), Mandala Crescent, Bateman.

Athletes do not need to wear the uniform on training days, but should wear comfortable clothes, joggers, hat, sunscreen, and bring with them a drink bottle. Club training is aimed at under-7 to under-11 athletes. Older athletes are invited to train and receive coaching at Melville Roar.

Parent Involvement

Your family is welcomed at Bateman-Bullcreek though you need to be aware that it is a family commitment. One parent per family will need to provide assistance on a rostered basis on competition days. Our club policy is that rosters will be allocated one Saturday or Friday (twilight weeks) on a 2 to 3 week basis, depending on numbers. Each family is also required to sign a parent agreement.

Parental assistance at training is always appreciated. You can help with the setting up of equipment, assist with coaching the athletes in various events, or simply by playing a supervisory role, ensuring the athletes are listening to the coaches and waiting their turn patiently. Please advise a committee member or coach if you are able to assist.
