2020/2021 Athletics Training

We’re pleased to confirm that weekly training will commence for all U11+ athletes from tomorrow (Tue 6/10) at Len Shearer

Training will run from 5.00pm to 6.30pm each Tuesday

Please arrive in sufficient time to be ready to commence warm up at 5.00pm

Athletes to bring their water bottle and wear comfortable clothing (club uniforms are not required to be worn at training) and appropriate footwear

Events to be covered on rotation:
• Sprints
• Hurdles
• High Jump
• Horizontal Jumps (Long Jump/Triple Jump)
• Throws (Shot Put/Discus/Javelin)

The initial weeks will have a slightly modified program as the ground is prepared for our season (Soccer vacates & Athletics takes over) & our new coaches commence

Parental assistance will be required with equipment and supervision

Please note attendance is strictly restricted to MEL registered U11+ athletes only
