Palmyra-Bicton

The Palmyra-Bicton Little Athletics club was formed in 1970 as a founding member of the Melville Little Athletics Centre. The aims of little athletics are fun, fitness and family involvement.

Uniform

White Palmyra-Bicton shirt with blue and red trim (available from the club) with black shorts / bike pants / briefs.

Training

Training for the under-7 to under-11 age groups will be each Wednesday from 4.30pm to 6.00pm. Parents of under-7 to under-9 athletes are required to stay at training with their children.

Our club trains at the Palmyra Primary School Oval, McKimmie Rd, Palmyra.

Athletes do not need to wear uniform on training days, but should wear comfortable clothes, joggers, hat, and sunscreen, and bring with them a drink bottle. At training, the safety of the athletes is the parents’ responsibility. As a club will do our best to look after the children but we cannot take responsibility for them.

Parent Involvement

Each year the Melville Little Athletics Centre delegates certain duties to each club. It is envisaged that one parent per family will need to provide assistance to the Palmyra-Bicton allocated duties once per fortnight on competition days. Each family is required to sign a parent agreement.
