Season Update

We have completed 3 weekends of competition at Len Shearer to date. A big thanks goes out to all the volunteers who help ensure the competition days run smoothly. We have seen the athletes having great fun and making new friends along the way.

As we progress through the season there will be additional events such as the Combined Events Championships and State Relay Championships.

Uniforms:

As our season is now well under way our uniform standards will be enforced at each & every competition.

Our uniform requirements are simple and easily achievable (see our Orange Book for full details):

1. Singlet – must be your Club Singlet (with badgets correctly attached)

Please note athletes are not permitted to compete at our competitions in the Melville Roar Singlet – these are for State Events or Winter competition only (going to or having been at a State event is not an acceptable excuse)

2. Shorts – the only permitted shorts are plain black with a logo no greater than 5cm x 3cm. White lines on shorts are not permitted. Stitching must only be black in colour.

Athletes not in the correct uniform will be initially cautioned and on subsequent occasions suspended from competition if they are out of uniform.

WA All Schools State Championships

Congratulations to all our Melville athletes competed this weekend at the WA All Schools State Championships. There were many great performances, pb’s and medal winners. Well done!
